You will be assigned to a Professional Advisor until you have earned 59 credit hours of study. Once you earn 59 credits (generally, end of your sophomore year), you will transition to a faculty advisor who will provide further guidance on specific career possibilities and postgraduate options.

Bengal Success Portal (BSP)
- Login to the Bengal Success Portal (BSP) using your Buffalo State University username and password.
- Click Home, then My Success Network to see advisors, instructors, and others connected to you.
- Find your advisor’s name(s) and select to send an email (or make an appointment online, if that option is available).
